The arena priest is a powerful healer which can obviously help by keeping the team alive to outlast their opponents. The arena priest can also help minimize damage to his team by fearing the opponent that can potentially do the most damage. Or throw out a psychic scream when his team is taking too much damage. Mana burn is another important ability in the arena priest’s arsenal. If he can drain his opponents’ mana he can keep them from turning that mana into damage done to his team. The priest’s power word shield and dispel abilities are others of his very powerful spells. When used just at the right moments, these abilities allow the priest to effectively control the battle to his arena team’s favor. Although mastering the nuances of the battle strategy can be a challenge, the arena priest with enough skill can effectively manipulate his opponents in the arena and thus help win arena points for his team.
