If equipped with the newest armor and weapons, this already deadly class becomes a serious candidate for topping the damage meter. Depending on how much damage you want to be able to cause, you should take a look at either the tier 9 sets (Khadgar’s Regalia or Sunstrider’s Regalia) or the tier 10 set (Bloodmage’s Regalia).

Mages in Tier 10 Gear / T10 Armor SetAs a pure dps class, the mage tier 10 set bonus gives an 18% damage increase for 30 seconds. With a cooldown of 3 minutes this leads to a 3% overall damage increase and that’s just from the set bonus. If you also add the overall stat increase that the t10 set will give your toon you’re looking at a whole new level of dps. With mage damage often coming in spikes, you have to be careful with your agro since this new gear will give you some huge critical strikes!
